30-Sep-1979 - Descending through 200ft on approach to land at the Sechelt water aerodrome the aircraft entered a right wing down, nose low attitude; upon crossing the shoreline the wing struck the ground causing the aircraft to cartwheel into the nearby trees. Subsequent investigation revealed the right aileron bell crank rod had separated due to an extensive stress corrosion crack. The aircraft was operating a charter flight from Vancouver on behalf of Tyee Airways.
