Welcome to the Twin Otter World Database Image Upload Page

All of the original images uploaded in 2012 were from the photo & slide collections of Michael J. Ody or myself. Since that time, it has expanded exponentially to include images from other Collectors and Enthusiasts. The 7,000+ Twin Otter images you see here are as a result of the generosity of those Photographers, and features the work of some of the best aircraft photographers on the planet. Many of these contributors have made their entire Twin Otter collection available! This continues to be a non-commercial website - the material here isn’t for sale, and all the costs relating to the site are covered by the Editor, so I can assure you that I am not receiving any remuneration. I have built the site to honor an aircraft that often gets overlooked elsewhere, a tool for fans of the Twin Otter to explore the history of each aircraft.

Will you share your images with Twin Otter fans around the world?

I know there is a wealth of material from folks who have been involved with the Twin Otter over the past 50+ years, particularly shots from the factory, from the Pilots who flew them, or Mechanics who kept them in the air. Photos do not have to reach an arbitrary criteria, I can often make a less than perfect image suitable. The best size for submission is 1024 pixels or larger, and often those at 750 pixels can be upscaled sufficiently. Large watermarking is discouraged.

There are two easy ways to make a contribution of photo material to the site:

2) If you have Twin Otter images uploaded elsewhere on the web, you just need to give me the OK to add some, or all of them to the site. (easy way…I do the work)
