10-May-1996 - The aircraft collided with high ground on approach to an airstrip serving the silver mine at Santa Maria de Otaez, Durango, Mexico. There were 14 fatalities of the 16 persons on board.

There are conflicting reports regarding the operation by Colonial Airlines in 1982; although most indicate the sale was not completed, there are also reports the aircraft was painted & delivered, but then returned.
