Additional Historical Notes
1) Left runway, crossed an open ditch and collided with an embankment on landing at Fitiuta, Samoa 23-Apr-1999. Subsequent investigation determined contributing factors were 1) a downwind landing and 2) the left engine's failure to transition to beta range on roll out. Repairable, and returned to service.
2) The aircraft was rebuilt by National Aerotech Aviation in Hampton, GA in 2013, MSN 510 provided the forward fuselage to repair previous station 60 damage. It was noted basically complete by May-2013, and the aircraft made its first flight following rebuild on 24-Aug-2013.
3) Damaged in a ground collision with company DHC-6-200 N30EA at Sebastian, FL 09-Feb-2015. Both aircraft were en route to a skydiving event in Puerto Rico at the time. Repairs completed on-site by Wipaire & Regent Aircraft Services, and ferried back to Ottawa, IL 06-Jun-2015
