Additional Historical Notes:
When sold by Winair to F.B. Ayer in 1978, it was placed on the Panamanian register. Upon purchase by Miami Aviation Corporation later in the year, it was discovered that it had never actually been formally registered in Panama, despite being painted as such. The aircraft was flown to Canada in Dec-1978 to obtain a Canadian CofA at Bradley Air Services, and was officially imported to the U.S.A. again on 03-Jan-1979.
Aircraft was flown to the Netherlands by Aug-2006, and subsequently to Altenrhein Aviation in Switzerland in Mar-2007 for major overhaul and repair. It was noted still present there on 18-Oct-2007. Since then it has operated from locations in Jordan, and by 2013 was in Iraq (noted at Erbil on 02-Dec-2013) carrying the registration N212RA. This information has not been included in the history above as N212RA is not a sanctioned, official registration, but one of many used by the various U.S. Special Operations Groups.
