18-Jul-1997 - The aircraft collided with mountainside at 7,400ft level while descending into Goroka in poor visibility. There were two fatalities.

There are reports indicating this aircraft carried the registration VH-FNS circa mid-1995, however there is no supporting documentation.
Further details of Apr-1978 accident:
Broke through ice, becoming partially submerged while taxiing on Great Slave Lake at Yellowknife NT. During the recovery operation the aircraft was dropped by the helicopter lifting it off the ice, sustaining further damage. It was repaired, and returned to service.
