28-Sep-1998 While on final approach to land at Praia, in rapidly deteriorating weather conditions resulting from an approaching severe thunderstorm the aircraft struck the ground. It was on a scheduled service from São Nikolau Island with 22 onboard - there was one fatality.
The wreckage was acquired by Dodson International, Rantoul, KS and it remains at their facility.
