12-Jun-1986 - Collided with rising ground in the vicinity of Laphroaig, while on approach to Port Ellen in poor visibility. Subsequent investigation determined that Laphroaig had been incorrectly identified as Port Ellen in the deteriorating weather conditions.

The aircraft wreckage was acquired by Newcal Aviation and was initially transported to Teterboro, NJ - it was later transported to Calgary, AB and finally to Victoria, BC after being acquired by Viking Air. It was registered to Viking on 29-Oct-2010 as C-FJVT.
