18-Sep-1989 - Damaged beyond economical repair while hangared at Saint Croix, USVI during Hurricane Hugo.

Additional Historical Information

1) Although the aircraft was returned to Pal-Air International in Oct-1988, it remained registered to Labrador Airways. Following the damage on 18-Sep-1989, the certificate of registration to Labrador Airways was cancelled 12-Oct-1989, and restored to Pal-Air International the same day (although the aircraft was wreckage by that point)

2) As C-FBRA was not in airworthy condition it was forced to ride out Hurricane Hugo in Saint Croix which struck the U.S. Virgin Islands on 18-Sep-1989. The wreckage was subsequently transported to Rantoul, KS to Dodson International Parts.
