Additional Historical Information
The actual history for the aircraft from the point of import to the U.S.A. from Papua New Guinea in 2000 is murky. The lease between JODA and Samoa Aviation was executed in Jun-2001 in an "as is/where is" condition. Documents seem to indicate that no engines were attached to the lease, until one was added on 26-Jul-2001. During 2001, and first noted at Springbank, AB on 15-Dec-2001 the aircraft continued to be in a disassembled state, in Islands Aviation livery and painted as P2-IAA. The Jun-2001 lease to Samoa Aviation was terminated on 06-Nov-2002 without every having been delivered, and the aircraft was sold on the same day to Rocky Mountain Aircraft (where it had been resident since 2001).
It remained in a disassembled condition at Springbank, AB - last noted in Sep-2005 until rebuilding was undertaken culminating it is delivery to Chile in 2007.
