23-Jan-2013 - The aircraft was operating a positioning flight from the Amundsen-Scott Station to the Italian Zuchelli Station at Terra Nova Bay, Antarctica when it struck Mount Elizabeth at the 3,900 metre (ASL) level. The weather at the time of the crash was heavy snow with winds of up to 170 km/hr; there were three fatalities.
